GOLD BUDDY Products Update

Effective January,1 2009 JOBE Wholesale purchased Gold Buddy and moved the manufacturing facility to our production shop in Hesperia, California. We intend to continue the long standing Gold Buddy tradition of affordable portable mining tools that work. If you are a Gold Buddy dealer you should take note of the following information that will effect these products.

(1) We anticipate making a few changes in the construction of the unites that will reflect our access in the Los Angles to processes that were not available in rural Arizona. For instance all the steel parts will be zinc plated instead of painted. We are in the process of taking new pictures with the plated steel parts.

(2) We are redesigning the legs on the drywashers so that they are made out of square steel tubing, will be shipped attached to the drywashers, and will fold by a simple pushbutton mechanism.

(3) We are not going to ship the wet units with the plastic tubs or recovery buckets. The tubs are readily available at Lowe's, or other home improvement stores, and their size adds a lot to the shipping cost. The recovery buckets were very flimsy and would usually not survive the shipping or the first outing for the units. 

(4) Revised descriptions of the units without the tubs and buckets are available on this site and have been revised for the new catalog.

(5) The retail and wholesale pricing will remain the same until we have an opportunity to review the manufacturing cost.
